I created the original design for this quilt back in 2005 and have been working on it between projects ever since. I did not use a photo for this design, just the image I had in my mind. Once I had it on paper, it took several weeks just to get all of the fabric pieces cut out and arranged the way I wanted them. From there it was just a matter of piecing it together and then figuring out how in the world I was going to quilt it. It was worth the effort though, and now I have this beautiful quilt hanging on my wall.
