My Blog

So I’m just getting started in this whole blog thing so you’ll have to bear with me.  I thought this would be a great way to fill you all in on what’s going on and give you the opportunity to post comments or questions.  I’ll also be able to keep you up to date on new stuff that’s available and I hope you’ll find this new feature to be both interesting and useful.

Currently there’s not a whole lot going on.  Money’s tight and people aren’t looking to spend much so things have slowed down considerably.  However, this has given me the opportunity to work on some things of my own that I hope to be able to add to the site in the not so distant future.  I have 2 quilts in the works and have recently learned how to knit so I’m jumping right in and making a sweater for my niece.  I have a problem with starting new projects before I’ve finished the one I’m working on.  I know it’s not good but when I get a new idea, I get so excited I have to start it right away.  Also, it’s nice to take a break and work on something new.  Sometimes you can only spend so long looking at one project before you start to go a little nuts, so if I take a break and work on something else, often when I go back to the first project, I’m able to see it with fresh eyes and can get some serious work done on it.  At least that’s what I tell myself so I won’t feel guilty.  

Well, I suppose I should stop writing and start doing so bye for now!
